The idea

What seemed like a good idea 2 years ago is fast becoming a reality.

We decided that you dont need to be old and grey to travel around Australia in a caravan.  What better time than now, with 3 young boys, my wife Jodie and myself, Mark.

We got a huge map of Australia, mounted it on the wall and with a yellow highlighter, marked all the places we would like to visit.  Now the yellow has faded away but our dream is alive and kicking.

In early 2011 we started to look for a caravan.  We sifted through websites and found lots of vans, designed for 2 old people and lots of spare time!
We wanted to get something with triple bunks and a toilet for night time visits by small boys.  In July we had decided what we wanted and started to look in the Trading post.  Week 1 we find a van and go for a trip to East Kurrajong to view the van.

The family selling the van have just returned from a 7 month trip, with 3 kid around Australia, its a sign :-) and we buy the van.
